A week focused on democracy and political discourse, starting on Monday, June 22 and ending on Friday, June 26. Every year, politicians, business leaders and citizens from all over Sweden and the rest of the world gather on our island for this unique week that has become a symbol of democracy and openness. This annual event, which takes place in the historic Almedalen in Visby, has grown to become one of the world's most significant gatherings for political discussion and debate.

MELLANGATAN
Cobbled street with a lovely medieval feel between Strandgatan and S:t Hansgatan. A central meeting place for business events, seminars and mingling during Almedalen Week.
HÄSTGATAN
It winds its way from Österport down to Donnersplats where it becomes part of Almedalsveckan. Hästgatan offers flexible opportunities for various corporate events with maximum profiling.
SANKT HANSGATAN
Lined with pack houses with characteristic gables, Sankt Hansgatan is embraced by well-preserved medieval arched houses. A wonderful setting for corporate events such as lectures, debates.
